Description:

Arrival in the town of Arusha, Tanzania. You will be transported to your accommodation to rest your jet lagged body. The afternoon will be spent at Arusha National Park famous for its birdlife, specifically 575 species.

After breakfast travel by road to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. The park is home to the largest population of elephants of any park in the northern circuit. During the dry months of June and September you will witness a migration of thousands of animals from the dry Masai steppe to the Tarangire River looking for water.

Travel along Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a World Heritage Site frequently referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. The afternoon will be spent in an area that encompasses a blend of landscapes, archaeological sites, people and abundant wildlife that is unsurpassed in Africa. The area also features volcanoes, grasslands, waterfalls, forests and home to the nomadic Masai.

After a scrumptious breakfast travel to the Nogorongoro Crater. The Crater is the centrepiece and major landmark of the conservation area, a natural amphitheatre surrounded by steep walls rising over 600 metres from the crater floor. The crater is a natural sanctuary for some 30,000 animals including the “big five” of buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino.

Travel to the Serengeti National Park for a guided game drive through the park before checking into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

The day will be spent exploring the different parts of the Serengeti National Park.  The Serengeti is arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world. In May or early June, huge herds of wildebeest and zebra begin their spectacular 600-mile pilgrimage.

 After breakfast travel to Lake Natron. Lake Natron is famous for its magnificent colours ranging from maroon to burnt orange to pink. It is the most important breeding site for Lesser Flamingos in the world. Travel to Arusha for your next destination.
